Meet our talented team

Chief Medical Officer Dr. John W. Mielke brings a significant and unique blend of experience in health care quality, physician/patient and family relationships, geriatric health management, innovation and patient safety. He received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed his residency at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. Dr. Mielke serves at both the Plymouth and Fridley locations. 
 

Interlude at Abbott Northwestern – WestHealth in Plymouth

Administrator Kayla Wagner, LNHA, holds a B.S. degree in Health Services Administration with an emphasis in long term care from Minnesota State University Moorhead and is a licensed nursing home administrator. She has five years of health care experience in metro skilled nursing facilities and post-acute centers.

 

Clinical Administrator Joni Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree, an Associate of Arts in Nursing degree, and is a registered nurse. Prior to transitioning to Interlude, Joni was the Director of Nursing in various senior living settings. She is experienced in nursing leadership and has great knowledge of transitional care services. She obtained her degrees from Minnesota State University Moorhead and Normandale Community College. 

Rehabilitation Program Manager Joely Wertz, MS CCC/SLP, has utilized her background in communications to work effectively with patients in a variety of settings, from outpatient to long-term care. She received her Masters of Speech-Language-Hearing Science from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and obtained her undergraduate degree in Communications, with a concentration in Health Care from Marquette University.

Interlude at Mercy Hospital - Unity Campus in Fridley 

Janae BeaudotAdministrator Amy Floy, LNHA, holds a a degree in Health Care Administration and is a licensed nursing home administrator. Prior to transitioning to Interlude, Amy served as Campus Administrator at Maranatha in Brooklyn Center, MN. She has worked in a few different roles within Presbyterian Homes and Services and continues to serve at Langton Shores in Roseville, MN.

 
 

Sarah KellerClinical Administrator Sarah Keller, RN/BSN, has worked for Presbyterian Homes & Services for over 17 years, 15 of which were spent working in Transitional Care at Langton Shores in various capacities. The last 2 years prior to coming to Interlude were in long term care at Johanna Shores. Sarah graduated from the College of Saint Scholastica in Duluth, MN.


 
 

Rehabilitation Program Manager Deanna Hughes received her BS in Occupational Therapy from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She has been with Presbyterian Homes & Services for 8 years and in leadership for 7 of those years. Prior to transitioning to Interlude, Deanna worked at Johanna Shores as a Rehab Supervisor and transitioned to Langton Place in 2013 as Rehab Program Manager.
